Looking for a different way to enjoy nature and beautiful beaches? Looking to serve clientle living in or visiting Seattle, Washington, Chenois Creek Horse Rentals allows you to observe the shore by horseback, which is truly a unique experience. Our gentle horses and experienced wranglers will provide you with a special outing you won't find anywhere else.

Horse Rentals

Ride down the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean when you rent our beautiful horses. Our guided rides are approximately one hour; and we have horses suitable for children and adults, as well as for beginners to advanced riders. Riders must be at least six years old, and adults must weigh less than 240 pounds. We are open every day from June 18 to September 6, the day after Labor Day; however, we are closed July 4. Horses are available for $20 per hour. Helmets are available for safety.

Our excellent wranglers provide you with all the equipment you need and guide you down the beach. There you will enjoy the crisp ocean air and spectacular coastline on our friendly horses. As you ride along the Pacific Ocean, you'll enjoy Washington's wildlife—and believe us when we say no two rides are ever the same. Riders often spot whales and seals, as well as a wide variety of birds. Our rentals are perfect for family outings, dates, or just make a pleasant afternoon by the beach. We're located 500 feet from the entrance to Ocean Shores.

Guides

Tom is one of our guides. Tom has been riding, training horses, and guiding for thirty plus years. We also have Kim and Tom Jr. who are the ones who help you sign up for your horse ride. We will have pictures up soon to let you get to know us. Our guides will help you as well as point out places of interest and the wild life. They will be glad to tell you a tale or two on your ride down the beach. Our experience guides will make your ride on the beach along the Pacific Ocean a lifetime memory!

Horses

Come enjoy Chenois Creek Horses! We have horses that you will enjoy. We have horses for the young horseback rider and for you older riders, experienced rider and the one that is not so experienced. Come and let us give you a fun day at the beach.

Hours

We are open at 10 o'clock in the morning and during the winter months when the days are short our last ride goes out at 4 pm. We are open weekends and holidays in the fall and winter months when the tides are not real high and the rain is not coming down. During School Breaks, we are open daily when weather is permitting. However, if you have a group coming to the beach and want to ride horses just email or give us a phone call a day or two before you arrive at Ocean Shores and we will be glad to accommodate you.
